Work Visas
Generally, a citizen of a foreign country who wishes to enter the United States must first obtain a visa, either a nonimmigrant visa for temporary stay or an immigrant visa for permanent residence. They include: E-1 Treaty Traders, E-2 Treatey Investors, H-1B Specialty Workers and Fashion Models, H-1C Registered Nurses, H-2 Temporary Labor, H-3 Training, L-1 Intracompany Transferees, O-1 Foreign Nationals with Extraordinary Ability, P-1 Athletes, Entertainment Groups and Artists, Q-1 International Cultural Exchange Program Participants and Q-2 Irish Peace Process Cultural and Training Program, R-1 Religious Workers and TN NAFTA Visas for Canadians and Mexicans.
